I am a tutor with a broad range of experience teaching difficult subjects in scientific fields of study. I am a tutor for a wide variety of topics including, Anatomy, Chemistry, Physics, the GRE Subject Test in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, graduate test preparation and Pathology. However, I specialize in Physiology, Immunology, and Human Biology. I feel a great sense of accomplishment in being able to help students learn and understand complex subjects that give them a real world application of the course work, as well as providing personal attention when needed. I assist in the Science Resource lab at the University of Missouri, and, in the past, I was an undergraduate learning assistant. As a learning assistant, I was a tutor and instructor for small groups and individuals. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology, achieving summa cum laude honors. In my free time, I enjoy physical fitness training and going to the gym, paintballing, boxing, and playing video games from time to time.
